Welcome to my Team National Compensation Plan Review.
Is Team National a scam?
You don’t want to join a company if it is a scam and gets shut down in one way or another in just a few months.
We are going to take a look at the information on the company, the products, and the compensation plan to find out.
There were a few people promoting Team National on social media and wanted to learn more about it.

We are going to research this company by learning about every aspect of the company and breaking it down below.
With that said, let’s dive down and get started.
Team National Company Overview
In this section of the review will cover the information on the company.

Dick Loehr founded Team national back in 1997, but now Angela Loehr Chrysler now has taken over as CEO and President since Dick’s battle with cancer which resulted in his passing on May 13th, 2008.
Team National is an MLM company that offers products and the ability of people to join as affiliate members to earn commissions from home.
National Companies is a name that the company also goes by.
The company has won many awards and is a member of the Direct Selling Association (DSA) which is known for having companies that have to pass their policies that make an MLM legitimate.
The company is also registered with Dunn and Bradstreet, and part of the chamber of commerce.
This is a really stellar resume if you ask me.

The company has been very successful, as a matter of fact in 1997 they hit the billion-dollar sales mark.
There are not that many MLM companies that share this group of very successful and profitable companies.
Some of the other companies include Amway, Organo Gold, and Herbalife.
With that said, let’s move on to the next section.

Team National Compensation Plan Review
In this section of the review, we are going to take a look at the Team National compensation plan.

The compensation plan is designed in an MLM binary compensation plan structure.
For those that are not familiar with how a binary pay structure works, here is a quick breakdown.
- The Binary structure has only 2 legs
- Infinity levels worth of depth on both legs.
- You will need 1 active affiliate member on your right and 1 on your left at all times to stay commission qualified.
- You will have a volume from 1 leg that does not combine with the other leg.
- The lesser volume leg is that leg that will earn you the commissions.
This is how the majority of MLM binary pay structures work.
Team National has additional qualifiers that you must meet to stay commissions qualified and earn more money with it.
Here is a video that was produced by the company that gives a great breakdown of how the compensation plan works.
Binary Commissions
When you start building your right and left binary team pay structure you will start earning points.
Usually, 1 leg will always have more points or volume than the other leg.
When you earn 10 points on your left leg and 10 points on your right leg you will earn a commission of $1500.

Hosting Bonus
This is earned when one of your personal referrals reaches the level that I described in the least part where you earn $1500 you will get what is called a “hosting bonus” of $1000.
Additional Ways To Earn Commissions
Team National also provides additional commissions that you can earn when you become commissions qualified.
Here is a breakdown of the additional ways you can earn with Team National:
- Progression Bonus
- Presidential Director Bonus
- Business Centers/Ratcheting
- Product Program
- Big N Marketplace
There are several ways to earn commissions with Team National but in my personal opinion, the company makes it really hard for people to earn good money unless they have a big list or team when they join.
But this company seems to go with the old school methods which in my opinion really sucks.
I decided a long time ago that I can spend less time marketing my business online and make more money which has been a solid business structure soon after I started.
That’s it for the compensation plan, let’s move on to the next section.

Team National FAQ
In this section of the review, we are going to cover some answers to questions that some people may have when they are about to join Team National.
Is Team National BBB Accredited?
No, the Team National company is not accredited on the Better Business website although they do have a listing on the BBB site.
This can mean that they have had some complaints that came through the BBB website that were not addressed by the company in cases like these.
It could also mean that the BBB doesn’t consider them to be in compliance, but we know that this is not the case.
I do not take what the BBB reports on their website to be a good or bad thing because the BBB has been known to have manipulated rating for companies and programs from outside 3rd party companies.
With that said, even though the company is not accredited, the BBB website does have an A+ rating.
You can read the BBB information here.
How Much Does It Cost To Join Team National?
There are a couple of prices that you can join Team National that is a yearly membership.
The memberships will renew automatically so you better be aware of this if you ever decide to quit!
You don’t want to wake up one day and get hit with over a $2k charge in your bank account.
Here are the membership package costs:
- Premium Membership – $2,195 for a 2-year membership that auto-renews.
- Standard Membership – $795 for 2 years and is not automatically renewed but can be renewed manually at that same price.
How Much Do People Make Selling Team National?
There are income statements that an MLM company publishes to stay in compliance and Team National also includes one as well.
I don’t want to start describing a ton of useless data and decided to publish just what I feel matters.
So, when I was looking through the income disclosure that Team National published I was able to find that 83% of Team National members earned less than $225 in 2015 and the compensation plan has not changed so I really don’t see that percentage changing much either.
Just found a 2017 updated income disclosure that you can see in the image below:

Even with the updated income disclosure, I posted above, my thoughts and suspicions are confirmed.
Is Team National A Scam?

In my opinion, no the Team National company and opportunity is not a scam.
They have everything needed to stay compliant with the MLM laws and regulations.
They are also a member of the DSA which only has big MLM companies and have strict rules to be a member of their club which compliance is #1.

Final Thoughts on the Team National Opportunity
This is the final section of my review where I cover my final thoughts on the Team National opportunity.
I feel that Team National is a great solid business.
They are very compliant with what they are supposed to have in place legally as far as what and MLM companies need to be in compliance with.
With that said, this is an MLM opportunity that will be a very difficult build to earn great money within any amount of time.
The price that is listed t get started and the compensation plan that has a few hoops you are going to need to be a special kind of salesman to keep the earning coming in.
But here is the question with all that said…
Would I recommend or join the Team National opportunity?
I would recommend the company as far as being a good and legitimate MLM company that is not a scam, but I wouldn’t recommend it to join, and as far as if I would join Team National…
No, I wouldn’t join Team National for these reasons:
- Price to join (not for me, the cost for others)
- Too many hoops with that compensation plan.
- I’m not excited about the product.
The reason why the BBB does not have Team National accredited might be for the reason of the yearly and 2 year subscriptions after thinking about it.
Imagine getting hit with a $2,200 bill a year after you move on from the business!
Ouch!
Anyway, I hope you enjoyed my Team National Review.
