Are you looking for a detailed Pink Zebra review? Then you’ve come to the right place!
There has been some internet buzz going around about this opportunity so I wanted to take a closer look.
I am going to take the time to research and review the information about the company, the products, and the compensation plan to see how it all works.
If you are looking to see if this company is a short-term scam, we are going to cover that information too.

Make sure to stick around until the end where I reveal my recommendation about Pink Zebra.
With that said, let’s dig in and see what we can learn about it.
Summary

Pink Zebra is an MLM company that specializes in the fragrance niche with their Pink Zebra Sprinkles that you put in a simmer pot and as they melt or “simmer” they give off various aromas.
As an affiliate member, you will have the ability to earn residual commissions from recurring customers and other affiliate members that are on your downline team.
The niche that I would say that Pink Zebra is in would be the fragrance wax MLM niche but they also offer other products that you will be able to learn about below.
Company Overview
One of the things that I like to see when reviewing an MLM company is to learn about the owner.
This gives me the ability to learn about the background and the experience that the owner has which would let me know if this is the type of company that I would join as an affiliate member.

With that said, the owners are Tom and Kelly Gaines.
The company first launched back in 2011 and is based in Texas in the United States.
Kelly and Tom both started out and met in a prior fragrant candle company.
Tom was in sales and Kelly was in marketing and development where they both put product lines together to sell or white label to other companies.
They decided to take their knowledge and experience and start their own company called Pink Zebra in 2011.
One of the products developed were these aroma sprinkles that were designed to melt in a type of candle warmer called simmer pots.
They market-tested their sprinkle product in Bath and Body stores which ended up flopping badly.
Well, they decided to not give up and felt that the product needed to be demonstrated which led them into the direct sales approach which would help demonstrate the product.
There is no sign that they were involved in Network Marketing before Pink Zebra, but they do offer a lot of experience in sales and marketing within the Pink Zebras’ field of expertise.
With that said, that is pretty much the breakdown of the company overview, with that said, let’s continue.

What Products Does Pink Zebra Offer?

The main attraction that Pink Zebra offers is their “Sprinkles” line of aromas that are wax melts that you use with a simmering bowl or wax warmer which when the “Sprinkles start to melt, they release various aromas.
It is a fun twist on the scented candles that have been out for years.
The Sprinkles are made from soft soy wax along with a blend of dyes and fragrances that the company offers.
The company offers a range of 57 aromas that you can choose from or purchase in bulk.
The company also offers:
- Simmer pots
- Simmer lights
- accent shade lighting simmers
- Soaks (added to your laundry to add various fragrances)
- Hand soaps (various fragrances)
- Diffusers
- and more…
The way that I see their product line is fun with vibrant assortments of aromas and fragrances.
I like the marketing and colors that their marketing offer which makes it fun.

How Does The Pink Zebra Compensation Plan Work?

When I took a look at the Pink Zebra compensation plan details, I found it to be traditional.
What I mean is they offer retail sales, fast start bonuses, rank advancement bonuses, residual income for monthly product sales, and more.
With any MLM compensation plan, I think it is really important to understand all of the ranks the company has to offer and what you will need to do in order to qualify for a higher rank.
When qualifying for a higher rank means that you will be able to earn more money.
With that said, let’s take a look at the ranks and qualifications first…
Ranks and Qualifications
There are a total of 8 ranks that you can reach in Pink Zebra.
Here is the breakdown:
- Consultant Rank – To qualify for the first rank you need to generate $400 worth of personal volume and maintain that every month as an affiliate member.
- Executive Consultant Rank – To qualify for this rank, you will need to maintain the previous ranked personal volume and also recruit and maintain 3 personally sponsored Consultant ranked members.
- Manager Rank – To qualify for this rank, you will need to maintain the previous ranked personal volume and also personally recruit and maintain 4 affiliate members. (2 Executive Consultants at minimum)
- Senior Manager Rank – To qualify for this rank, you will need to maintain the previous ranked personal volume and maintain a $15,000 monthly group volume and also maintain 4 personally recruited affiliate members. (2 Managers at minimum)
- Executive Manager Rank – To qualify for this rank, you will need to maintain the previous ranked personal volume and maintain a $30,000 monthly group volume and also maintain 4 personally recruited affiliate members. (2 Senior Managers at minimum)
- Director Rank – To qualify for this rank, you will need to maintain the previous ranked personal volume and $50,000 monthly group volume and also maintain 5 personally recruited affiliate members. (4 Managers and 1 Executive Manager at minimum)
- Executive Director Rank – To qualify for this rank, you will need to maintain the previous ranked personal volume and $100,000 monthly group volume and also maintain 6 personally recruited affiliate members. (4 Managers, 1 Executive Manager, and 1 Director at minimum)
- Presidential Director Rank – To qualify for this rank, you will need to maintain the previous ranked personal volume and $150,000 monthly group volume and also maintain 4 personally recruited Director ranked members or higher at minimum.
Now, as you look at the rankings and qualifications, you will need to maintain a minimum of $400 personal volume per month in order to be commission qualified.
Personal volume can come from your own personal purchases (in the form of an autoship) and also from customer purchases.
Additional Rank Qualifications
The compensation plan used is called the “unilevel”.
Unilevel compensation plans grow only by levels and all of your personally recruited members will be on your first level.
When your personally recruited members recruit members, they will be on your 2nd level.
The 2nd level team members personally recruited members will be placed on your 3rd level and so on…
With that said, each of your personally recruited members is considered 1 of your legs.
Ok, so when you reach Manager rank, you can not have more than 60% of your group volume counted from any 1 of your legs.
When you reach the rank of Senior Manager and higher, that percentage tightens up at no more than 40% per any one leg to qualify.
Retail Commissions
Now we come to the retail sales of the products.
This is earned when you sell the products to customers that purchase the products without them joining as an affiliate member.
So, the baseline percentage you earn from product sales is 25% across the board.
The company does increase this percentage but only if you sell over $900 worth of product in a single month.
This percentage rises to 30% and then another level of increase of 35% if you get to $2,000 worth of retail sales in 1 month.
Your own sales volume does count toward this qualification for a higher percentage.
Quick Start Incentive
The “QuickStart Incentive” that Pink Zebra offers is a special bonus to new affiliate members that get to work in their first few months into business with them.
The company will award new members with what they call ” “Pink Dollars”.
Pink Dollars can only be used to purchase personal products through the member’s back office shopping portal.
So, what can new members earn?
Well, let me break it down for you…
- When you generate $500 worth of “personal volume” in your first 30 days, then you will win 75 Pink Dollars.
- If you reach $1,000 worth of personal volume in 31 to 60 days, you can win another or first 125 Pink Dollars.
- If you are able to produce another $1,000 worth of personal volume in your 61 to 90 days, you can win another 150 Pink Dollars.
Sponsoring Bonus
The sponsoring bonus is based on the “sales volume” that is produced by your “personal recruited members”.
When your personally recruited members start to generate sales, you will earn a small percentage of those sales produced.
Across the board, you will earn 7% of all of your personally recruited member’s sales volume.
Residual Monthly Commissions
I think the bread and butter part of any MLM company is the residual income part of the compensation plan.
The way that Pink Zebra pays and tracks their residual income that is paid out to their affiliate members is through the unilevel compensation plan.
I explained how the unilevel works under the company ranks and qualifications section above for reference.
With that said, your residual commissions are all based on monthly product sales that your downline and customers purchase each month.
Pink Zebra has a total of 4 levels of residual income that you can earn from.
There’s additional residual income that you can earn, but only when you qualify for the rank of Director which I will get into in the next section.
Here is what residual income you can earn on your levels:
- Consultant Rank – When you reach this rank, you can only earn 3% on all of your personally recruited members only.
- Executive Consultant Rank – When you reach this rank, you can earn 3% on your level 1 and also on your level 2 team members.
- Manager Rank – When you reach this rank, you can earn 3% on your level 1, and also on your levels 2 and 3 team members.
- Senior Manager Rank and Higher – When you reach these ranks, you can earn 3% on team members that you have on all 4 levels.
Generation Director Bonus
Pink Zebra offers additional residual income that they call a generational bonus.
This kicks in when you reach the rank of Director and adds more levels when you reach higher ranks.
When you reach the rank of Director, you can earn an additional 3% of the monthly product’s sales down each leg until you reach a Director ranked member in any of those individual legs.
This is what is called your first-generation Director bonus.
When you increase your rank, you can earn additional generations of Directors.
Here is a quick breakdown:
- Director Rank – When you reach this rank, you can earn 3% on 1 generation of Director-ranked members on all of your level 1 legs.
- Executive Director Rank – When you reach this rank, you can earn 3% on your first Director generation and 2% on your second generation of Directors.
- Presidential Director Rank – When you reach this rank, you can earn 3% on your first Director generation, and 2% on your 2nd and 3rd generations of Directors.
Mentoring Executive Manager Bonus
Finally, Pink Zebra also offers a Mentoring Bonus.
This is basically very similar to the Generation Director Bonus that I just covered but reserved for Executive Manager ranked members and above.
These commissions are also in addition to the previous generation bonus.
You will earn 2% of the sales volume on any 1 leg down to the first Executive Manager that you have on a leg.
If there are none located on any one leg, then you earn 2% from that entire leg.
That is pretty much all there is to how the Pink Zebra compensation plan works, so let’s continue to the next section.

With that said, let’s continue.
Final Pink Zebra Review and Recommendation
In the final section of my review, I am going to share my final thoughts and recommendation about the Pink Zebra opportunity.
As you read, I covered information about the company, the products, and the compensation plan.
I also covered my thoughts as to why I do feel that the company is a legitimate MLM business in the section that covers “Is It A Scam” above.

What are your thoughts at this point?

Do I Recommend Joining Pink Zebra?
Right now, you should have the information that you need in order to make an educated decision on whether or not Pink Zebra is right for you.
If you were to ask me if I would join as an affiliate member, I would have to say no just because it is not a good fit for me at this point.
But I would definitely purchase some of those Sprinkles just to see how good of an aroma they put out and also try various scents, I think that would be kind of fun.
Overall, I do think that this company is a good company to join if you decide to move forward with it.
With that said, I hope you enjoyed my Pink Zebra review.
