Magellan International Alliances Review – Scam? Compensation Plan Breakdown

Welcome to my Magellan International Alliances Review.

Is Magellan International Alliances a scam?

This is one important question that we are going to take a look at and get answers for after we review all the information about this opportunity.

We are going to learn if it is a scam by looking at the company, the products, and the compensation plan information that the company offers.

The reason why I decided to take a closer look into Magellan International Alliances was that I seen a promotion on the web and seen that it had something to do with casino type of tokens that are not really normal in MLM so was interested in learning more.

Magellan International Alliances Review

I have my reservations because gambling and MLM don’t really ever go hand in hand.

With that said, we’re going to take a closer look and see what exactly it is and offers to people that want to join Magellan International Alliances.

Let’s get started.

Magellan International Alliances Company Overview

The first section of my review will cover the company and who is behind it all.

Magellan International Alliances Reviews

Magellan International Alliances is an MLM company that deals with cryptocurrency and mining.

Magellan International Alliances is a program that offers an opportunity to help people make money with the compensation plan that it offers.

It seems like that roads lead to Ireland on where the company is located, probably due to “Company Formations Int.

There is no information on where the actual company is based on.

Magellan International Alliances CEO Company Owner

Jef Welch is the CEO that was assigned to Magellan International Alliances.

This happened back in August 2017.

Jef claims that the company is based out of Georgia but there is no concrete evidence of this anywhere on the website or online.

The corporate site states that Welch has served in the Direct Sales industry for 40 years, that he has also formed an international team and traveled all over the world.

It states that Jef aligned himself with Magellan International Alliances due to the integrity and vision that the company offered.

Upon further investigation is that Welch was actually tied to a company called CGI Limited where he “was accused” of tying himself with unregistered securities and laundering money with that company.

There were all kinds of wrongs that were going on with CGI Limited to it running a crypto gambling service and claims that the company was even tied to some casinos which were totally illegal.

All the laws that the US has against internet gambling didn’t last very long and they actually had to rebrand themselves to CGI Global and did away with the gambling crypto side of it.

A really crazy background that the owner has ties to, and in my honest opinion really does not look good if you ask me.

So that is what I got from the Magellan International Alliances company information.

Very colorful to say the least.

Magellan International Alliances Products Review

This section of my review will cover the products that Magellan International Alliances has to offer.

Magellan International Alliances Products No Retail

Looking around and checking out the entire company site, the company has no retail products to offer customers.

The only product that they offer is for affiliate members and is actually the ability to earn commissions when you invest and join if you really want to call that a product.

Basically, they offer what they call the BetChip Altcoin.

Looks like they are trying really hard to keep that illegal gambling aspect going by rebranding yet another company.

Apparently, BetChip has been rebranded as well from the illegal gambling crypto to an e-commerce platform type of crypto.

They claim that you can use this crypto in stores like Amazon and Shopify to purchase goods.

This is the claim that they have included on the company website:

“Our community of members can experience discounts and savings from many of the leading brands around the world.”

The next section of my review will cover the compensation plan and how it works.

Recruitment Commissions

The Recruiting commissions are structured in a unilevel pay plan that Magellan International Alliances offers.

The way that a unilevel compensation plan works is this:

  • 1st level – Personally referred members only.
  • 2nd Level – Members that your personally referred members bring into the business.
  • 3rd Level – Members that your 2nd Level Members refer to the business.
  • and so on…

Here is a breakdown of the volume that you receive when a new member enters your unilevel.

  • Bronze Rank – You will earn 50 BV for every member the enters your unilevel at this investment level.
  • Bronze Elite Rank – You will earn 250 BV for every member the enters your unilevel at this investment level.
  • Silver Rank – You will earn 500 BV for every member the enters your unilevel at this investment level.
  • Silver Elite Rank – You will earn 2500 BV for every member the enters your unilevel at this investment level.
  • Gold Rank – You will earn 5000 BV for every member the enters your unilevel at this investment level.
  • Gold Elite Rank – You will earn 12,500 BV for every member the enters your unilevel at this investment level.
  • Platinum Rank –  You will earn 25,000 BV for every member the enters your unilevel at this investment level.

You should note that per the investment that is made the volume will be less so you will have to do the math on the volume amount, not on the actual dollar amount per investment made.

Unilevel Payout Commissions

The Magellan International Alliances unilevel stops at 5 levels down.

So you can earn only for 5 levels, and you should also note that you will only earn a percentage of the investment that is made and repurchased.

  • Level 1 –  Members that are on your level 1 unilevel will earn you 10% of their investment.
  • Level 2 –  Members that are on your level 2 unilevel will earn you 8% of their investment.
  • Level 3 –  Members that are on your level 3 unilevel will earn you 6% of their investment.
  • Level 4 –  Members that are on your level 4 unilevel will earn you 4% of their investment.
  • Level 5 –  Members that are on your level 5 unilevel will earn you 2% of their investment.

Reinvestments will also earn you these commission percentages.

Residual Commissions

Residual commissions are offered with Magellan International Alliances also.

This is paid out in a binary compensation plan structure.

The way that a binary comp plan structure works are that you will have 2 legs, a right, and a left leg.

The members that are referred int the binary can be from you personally and all of your team members and members can fall anywhere on the left or right leg.

Usually on the outsides of either leg.

The BV that was outlined above will determine the residual commissions that are paid out.

Basically what will happen is you will have a volume total on your right leg, and a volume total on your left leg.

The commissions that you will earn will be from the leg that has the lesser amount of volume.

Magellan International Alliances will take all the volume from the lesser leg and pay on 10% of that volume to you.

This is paid out each day.

Any left-over volume will be carried over to the next day.

Matching Bonus Commissions

Magellan International Alliances also offers a matching commission bonus.

The way that these works are to start you will earn 5% from all of your personally referred member’s residual commissions that they earn through their binary.

The matching bonus commissions will have a 6 level cap to it that is designed in a unilevel pay structure as described above.

The company actually labels these matching bonus ranks as “navigators”.

Basically, you can only earn this bonus down to the team member that has your rank or higher.

So you can earn these bonuses until someone on your team reaches the same qualifying “Navigator” rank as you, but you can have several legs depending on how many people you personally refer into the business.

Now there must be qualifications for each rank that I will list below, but this information could not be found so I will just mention the percentages that you can earn this match bonus and the generations deep that you can qualify for when you reach the levels that are described below.

Here is a breakdown of the Matching Bonus commissions and earnings:

  • Navigator Rank – You can earn a 15% match on your personal referrals.
  • Navigator 1 Star Rank – You can earn a 15% match on your personal referrals and a 20% matching bonus on your second-level members.
  • Navigator 2 Star Rank – You can earn a 15% match on your personal referrals and a 20% matching bonus on your second and third level members.
  • Navigator 3 Star Rank – You can earn a 15% match on your personal referrals, a 20% matching bonus on your second and third level members plus a 10% match on your fourth level members.
  • Navigator 4 Star Rank – You can earn a 15% match on your personal referrals, a 20% matching bonus on your second and third level members, plus a 10% match on your fourth level members and 5% on your fifth level members.
  • Navigator 5 Star Rank – You can earn a 15% match on your personal referrals, a 20% matching bonus on your second and third level members, a 10% match on your fourth level members, 5%on  your fifth level members, and 2% on your sixth level members.

That is how the compensation plan works, let’s move on to the next section of my review.

Is Magellan International Alliances A Scam?

Is Magellan International Alliances A Scam

In my opinion, I feel that there are a lot of things wrong with it.

I am not a lawyer so I can’t make a legal statement on whether or not it is, but what I can say it really seems more like a Ponzi Scheme to me.

My Final Magellan International Alliances Review and Thoughts

There are a lot of things that I feel are wrong with the Magellan International Alliances opportunity.

The first thing research I usually always start out with is the company.

As you can see in my review section about the company and owners, the information is not even stated on the website on who owns it.

There are passages about this and that and how good they are, but that is all coming from the website itself.

When doing some research on who we are thinking is running operation and “assigned” CEO status this guy has a terrible past that deals with money laundering and illegal Ponzi scheme gambling craziness.

If you were to ask me if I would join Magellan International Alliances?

I would have to say absolutely not.

I don’t have the time or money to waste on something that has a lot of signs that it will be closed down soon.

But hey, we are all big boys and girls here and we can make our own decisions in the end.

A lot of the information I provided here in this review is a fact, but I do offer some of my opinions in different areas of this review that I do state that these are my opinion.

But it is clear to me that this for me is a no-go.

I hope you enjoyed my Magellan International Alliances review.
