I was looking around the internet for new money-making opportunities and stumbled upon Fortress Network.
I thought it looked interesting so I started to look at various reviews and found both positive and negative opinions about it.
I wanted to see for myself so I decided to take the time to research and review the information about the company, the products, and the compensation plan and share what I found with you here.
After taking a look at all the information I found, I am going to share my final thoughts and recommendation about Fortress Network with you in the last section of my review.

What Is Fortress Network?
Fortress Network is an MLM company that you can join and earn commissions through its referral program that the company offers. The niche that I would say that the company is in would be the MLM cycler basic biz opp niche.
Company Overview
When looking at the company of any money-making opportunity, I like to see who owns the company.
This will give me the ability to take a closer look at the experience and the history that the owner has so that I can discover if the owner is the type of person that I would want to represent based on his experience and history.
If that passes the test, then I will continue looking at the opportunity to get an idea of the business model that they offer and see if it is a legit model.
With that said, I found that Akili Dorian Omari is the CEO of Fortress Network through some online promotions and NOT from the company website.
The company is based out of North Carolina according to the company website.
It doesn’t appear that Akili has much experience with online businesses, but I found out that he used to run nightclub events which I guess is an event promoter if I am not mistaken.
I mean, he must have had some type of experience doing business online, but it doesn’t appear that he did much of any marketing online because I couldn’t find any information about him online.
I decided to see when the company was started because some of these websites I run across say that they have been running for several years, and it turns out they just started a couple of months ago.
Researching the domain name lets us know what the truth is so this is what I found:
- The domain name “fortressnetworkllc.com” was registered on 6-25-2017 and then updated a year later
- The domain name was registered privately.
With that said, this is all the information that I have about the company, let’s continue on to the next section.

Fortress Network Products – What Do They Offer?
In this section of my Fortress Network review, I am going to cover the products and services that the company offers.
After taking a look at the company, I saw many services and products listed but nothing that was offered for a commissionable product that members can earn from.
It appears that they are offered as a side offering which doesn’t help the MLM business of Fortress Network.
With that said, let’s continue on to the next section where we will learn how to make money with the opportunity.

How Does The Fortress Network Compensation Plan Work?
In this section of my Fortress Network review, I am going to cover the information about how the compensation plan works and the other ways that you can make money with the opportunity.
The first thing that I noticed is that Fortress Network claims that they are not a network marketing company which is a flat-out lie when you take a look at the compensation plan.
We will get into the structure and why it is a network marketing business in the next couple of paragraphs.
The way that you can make money with Fortress Network is by recruiting new members and by building a downline team.
The membership is a monthly cost and the commissions are paid based on the member’s active subscription, so these commissions are considered “residual income” which is what many people that lean toward network marketing really like.
Getting Started
In order to get started and earn from your referral and downline team will require you to pay $10 which is a monthly cost.
The monthly cost will give you the ability to earn from the 3X9 MLM matrix compensation plan structure that the company offers.
Qualifications
Now, in order to qualify and earn commissions from the 3X9 matrix, you will need to personally sponsor and maintain 3 active monthly subscription members.
Matrix Commissions
Once you find your 3, you can earn from all the 9 levels that the 3X9 matrix offers.
Every active position that you fill in your matrix will pay you $1.
If you are able to fill each position available in your 3X9 matrix, your earnings will equal $29,523 per month.
My experience with Matrix compensation plans when concerning commissions is that when you start building your downline team, positions start to fill up sporadically on different levels.
The first few levels usually do get completely filled, but then you might have a few on your level 5, then maybe even fewer positions filled on your level 6, and then maybe a lot of positions filled on your level 7…
The main thing to take note of and pay attention to is that every active subscription in your 3X9 matrix is worth $1 to your commission payout.
I am not sure if there is a minimum amount until you are able to withdraw your earnings which is usually the case.
Usually around $20 in my experience.

My Fortress Network Q and A Section
In this section of my Fortress Network review, I am going to answer some of the questions that people may have when thinking about joining.
Is Fortress Network BBB Accredited?
After looking around the BBB website, I was unable to find any information about the Fortress Network company like a listing or accreditation.
This does not mean that the company is a scam or not legit, it just means that the BBB doesn’t have a listing for them at this time.
What’s The Cost To Join Fortress Network?
The minimum cost to join Fortress Network will require a monthly subscription of $10 per month.
This is the total cost and I can see why many people would like this type of lower-cost opportunity.
However, the lower cost will mean that you will need a TON more people in your downline to make any kind of significant money in my experience.
Is Fortress Network A Scam?
In my opinion, and after looking at all the information that I gathered, I can’t say that Fortress Network is a scam or not.
However, there are some issues that I want to point out that could get the company in legal trouble down the road due to non-compliance with MLM laws.
Now, I know that on the company website the claim is that they are NOT a network marketing company but anyone that knows about the network marketing business model knows that this company is clearly a network marketing company due to its multiple levels of commissions that you can earn through the compensation plan that they offer.
The issue is that since they are in no doubt a network marketing company, they need to offer retail products or services which they do not.
With that said, let’s finish up.
